Bob Simpson is a Principal Communications Consultant in Mercer’s Career business and is based in Houston, Texas. Bob’s experience in change management, digital transformation and employee communications helps clients roll out engaging, flexible and measurable solutions for their employees. Before joining Mercer, Bob was Sr. Director of the Benefits Solutions Group for EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, where he served as National Practice Leader for the Communication & Engagement and Wellness & Health Management lines of business. His role at EPIC transformed the delivery of communication and wellness solutions to focus on effective, strategic solutions for EPIC’s growing list of clients. Bob was also a Director of Communication & Change Management at Willis Towers Watson, where he led projects on establishing an employee value proposition, communicating total rewards and implementing HR technology solutions. Bob’s goal in each project is to help clients and their employees make the complex simple – either through the management of change messaging, the implementation of new technologies and processes, or simply answering the question, “What’s in it for me?” Bob received his Bachelor’s at The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s Degree in Communication Management at The University of Southern California.
