Amplifying Philanthropy with Internal Initiatives
Kendra Scott is a company founded on big dreams. We remain committed to our core pillars as our North Star – Fashion, Family & Philanthropy. From a Benefits and Total Rewards perspective, our employees are our core customers and we strive to celebrate our KS Family every day. Externally, we are constantly engaging in new partnerships with philanthropic aims through community investments and projects. We focus on helping women and children to lead their brightest lives through priorities like education & entrepreneurship, empowerment, and health & wellness. We connect our customers with our mission of “doing good” through designing jewelry where proceeds support specific causes and empower customers to request a product donation for a charity of their choice. Philanthropy is woven into the fabric of who we are as a brand and what we can accomplish together within our KS Family. We recognize that when you give back within the community, there’s an intrinsic feeling that motivates and inspires you. We aim to bring that altruistic mindset and opportunity to all roles within KS. When we launch an external community partnership or philanthropic initiative, we internally roll out a matching program for our employees. We believe that you can amplify the impact of external objectives when your employees are an active participant with a complementary focus. In this session, we will discuss various pairs of programs with an external and internal component. By presenting how our philanthropy and community partnerships are rolled out alongside employee programs, the session will highlight the importance of connecting external work to initiatives that inspire your workforce.
